Warm Hands, Warm Hearts: Community Mitt Making

In-Person

Come make mittens for the community with us! Although it's warm now, winter is around the corner. Over two days, make warm mitts for those in need using re-purposed clothing with leather artist Sheila Cailleau. Participants should attend both July 22 & July 29 to complete the project. All supplies are provided.

Mittens will be donated to an agency for community members in need. If you need the mitts for yourself, that's okay too - let staff know on the first day.

  • Duplicate registrations for the same name will be cancelled.
  • The Library reserves the right to limit the number of program attendees.
  • Family programs including Baby Rhyme Time, Toddler Time, Family Story Time, and 3-5 with a caregiver programs are an opportunity for caregivers to participate together with their child in the program.
  • School age programs are for children ages 6-8, 6-12, or 9-12. Children attend on their own unless otherwise indicated. Teen programs are for Grades 7-12.
