Native Plant Identification

In-Person

Join us for a native plant identification walk! This walk will be led by Métis naturalist Jenna Vandal. She will share her knowledge on the identification of prairie plants, as well as their edible and medicinal uses. Participants will meet inside the Cornish Library. The walk will begin by visiting plants in the green space behind the library, followed by a five minute walk to the Riparian Forest Path at Blanchard Avenue and West Gate. Wear comfortable walking shoes, bring water, and dress for the weather.
