Propagating Fruit Trees and Berry Bushes
Sustainable South Osborne began its orchard with purchased plants. Now they are propagating plants themselves. Learn about propagation including grafting, air layering, and root sucker techniques to increase food production. Drop by the library table to browse our display and to get your library card, too! We will begin with a short presentation, and then head out to the nearby orchard for hands-on learning and a tour. Rain date: Saturday, August 18: 10 a.m.-12 noon. Riverview Community Centre, 90 Ashland Ave.
