What Colours Make Up Your Character?

In-Person

In writing fiction, the challenge is to create compelling and believable characters. Is the character in question—to use a visual analogy—only a single colour or shade? Could fiction writers benefit from various psychological theories to guide and inspire our development of fictional characters? Writer and psychologist Lydia Kwa will engage participants in visual-linguistic explorations, using a palette of paint chips for exploring character and developing character complexity.
