Reconciling Our History Walking Tour

In-Person

This guided walking tour of the Exchange District focuses on monuments and Indigenous perspectives that are absent from their story. Participants will actively engage in dialogue to reposition the story of Winnipeg - a city built on shared lands of Treaty No. 1 territory. The tour begins in the City Hall courtyard and ends near the Manitoba Museum with an accessible route of about 1.2 km. Space is limited and registration is required; physical distancing will be in place. Masks are encouraged. Please bring a pen and paper. Participants should not attend if feeling unwell or have recently travelled per public health guidelines. Registration will close one hour prior to the tour. This event is in partnership with the Manitoba Museum and the City of Winnipeg, Indigenous Relations Division.
