Perspectives Online Book Club: In Search of April Raintree by Beatrice Mosionier
OnlineThis book club is online using Zoom. A link to the meeting will be sent after registering. Read and discuss diverse books from authors who write about life experiences similar to their own. Each month brings a new perspective on topics such as genders, abilities, cultures and more. Register for each month's title separately. Registartion opens 6 weeks before meeting. Space is limited. English learners: CLB 8+ is best to take part.
This month's title is In Search of April Raintree by Beatrice Mosionier. This is the story of two young Métis sisters who are taken away from their family and placed into diiferent foster homes. Download the eBook through the Library's OverDrive service, or place a request for a print copy through our online catalogue.
