Perspectives Online Book Club: The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang

This book club is online using Zoom. A link to the meeting will be sent after registering. Read and discuss diverse books from authors who write about life experiences similar to their own. Each month brings a new perspective on topics such as genders, abilities, cultures and more. Register for each month's title separately. Registartion opens 5 weeks before meeting. Space is limited. English learners: CLB 8+ is best to take part.

This month's title is The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang. Stella, who has Autism Spectrum Disorder, wants some professional help in the dating department. Public Program Registration Guidelines

  • An email address is required to register for all programs. If you do not have an email address, register by calling or visiting any Library branch.
  • Duplicate registrations for the same name will be cancelled.
  • The Library reserves the right to limit the number of program attendees.
  • Family programs including Baby Rhyme Time, Toddler Time, Family Story Time, and 3-5 with a caregiver programs are an opportunity for caregivers to participate together with their child in the program.
  • School age programs are for children ages 6-8, 6-12, or 9-12. Children attend on their own unless otherwise indicated. Teen programs are for ages 13-17.
  • Programs with children ages 11 and younger require a caregiver to remain in the library during the program. In the absence of a caregiver, the Library does not assume responsibility for a child.
  • Children are not supervised by library staff outside of the program space (e.g. washroom breaks or leaving the program early exit from the program).
  • Children of all abilities are welcome to attend Library programs. If the child requires the support of a caregiver to participate in a program, please speak with staff.
  • Online library programs use Zoom. Please familiarize yourself with Zoom before the program.
