Intro to Grant-Writing for Writers

Online

Do you dream of getting funding to support a creative writing project, but aren't sure where to start? Are you looking to hone your grant-writing skills and learn tips and best practices? Join Writer-in-Residence Anna Leventhal to learn the basics of writing a grant application to arts funders, such as national and local arts councils. While the focus will be on grants for creative writing projects, most of the principles are not specific to discipline, so artists working in other areas (such as dance, visual arts, media arts, and so on) may find the session valuable as well.

The one-hour presentation will be followed by a Q&A. Due to time constraints, the facilitator won't be able to provide individual feedback on projects or proposals during the session.
