1-on-1 Tech Tuesdays

Do you need help with technology questions? Bring your own phone, tablet, laptop, or use a library computer and drop in to ask about:

  • Email and social media accounts.
  • Finding government forms.
  • Finding online bank statements and paystubs.
  • Sharing and printing pictures.
  • Saving to "the Cloud" e.g. Google Drive or OneDrive.
  • Any other internet/tech questions.

We will do our best to answer your questions, giving you the confidence to use technology on your own.

Programs and events at Winnipeg Public Library are always free.

Public Program Registration Guidelines

  • An email address is required to register for all programs. If you do not have an email address, register by calling or visiting any Library branch.
  • Duplicate registrations for the same name will be cancelled.
  • The Library reserves the right to limit the number of program attendees.
  • Family programs including Baby Rhyme Time, Toddler Time, Family Story Time, and 3-5 with a caregiver programs are an opportunity for caregivers to participate together with their child in the program.
  • School age programs are for children ages 6-8, 6-12, or 9-12. Children attend on their own unless otherwise indicated. Teen programs are for Grades 7-12.
  • Programs with children ages 11 and younger require a caregiver to remain in the library during the program. In the absence of a caregiver, the Library does not assume responsibility for a child.
  • Children are not supervised by library staff outside of the program space (e.g. washroom breaks or leaving the program early exit from the program).
  • Children of all abilities are welcome to attend Library programs. If the child requires the support of a caregiver to participate in a program, please speak with staff.
  • Online library programs use Zoom. Please familiarize yourself with Zoom before the program.
