Vos compétences orales en français sont un peu rouillées ? Vous pouvez formuler de courtes phrases en français et maintenir une conversation de base ? On vous attend à notre prochain cercle de conversation en personne qui aura lieu le jeudi soir, du 25 avril au 13 juin. À noter que ce n’est pas un cours de français.

Brush up on your French-speaking skills in our French Conversation Group. The group meets Thursdays from April 25 – June 13. Please note: this is not a French language-learning course. Attendees must be able to maintain a basic French conversation.

Public Program Registration Guidelines

  • An email address is required to register for all programs. If you do not have an email address, register by calling or visiting any Library branch.
  • Duplicate registrations for the same name will be cancelled.
  • The Library reserves the right to limit the number of program attendees.
  • Family programs including Baby Rhyme Time, Toddler Time, Family Story Time, and 3-5 with a caregiver programs are an opportunity for caregivers to participate together with their child in the program.
  • School age programs are for children ages 6-8, 6-12, or 9-12. Children attend on their own unless otherwise indicated. Teen programs are for Grades 7-12.
  • Programs with children ages 11 and younger require a caregiver to remain in the library during the program. In the absence of a caregiver, the Library does not assume responsibility for a child.
  • Children are not supervised by library staff outside of the program space (e.g. washroom breaks or leaving the program early exit from the program).
  • Children of all abilities are welcome to attend Library programs. If the child requires the support of a caregiver to participate in a program, please speak with staff.
  • Online library programs use Zoom. Please familiarize yourself with Zoom before the program.
