Orange Shirt Pins for Residential School Awareness

In-Person

Create an orange shirt pin with Gerri-Lee Pangman. Participants will create a pin to wear to bring awareness to residential schools and to honour the survivors and children who did not return home. Recommended reading on residential schools will be shared while making the pin. All supplies will be provided to make one pin. No prior experience in beading or sewing is needed.

This program will not have a waitlist. If program is full, check back for openings.

  • Duplicate registrations for the same name will be cancelled.
  • The Library reserves the right to limit the number of program attendees.
  • Family programs including Baby Rhyme Time, Toddler Time, Family Story Time, and 3-5 with a caregiver programs are an opportunity for caregivers to participate together with their child in the program.
  • School age programs are for children ages 6-8, 6-12, or 9-12. Children attend on their own unless otherwise indicated. Teen programs are for Grades 7-12.
