Tour de WPL: A Group Bike Ride

In-Person

Explore a new route with our group bike ride! All levels of experience are welcome. Starting at the Windsor Park Library (1195 Archibald St), the route will follow neighbourhood streets and multi-use paths to the St. Vital Library (6 Fermor Ave). From there, we will head towards the Elm Park Bridge and continue through the Lord Roberts neighbourhood, finishing the ride at the Osborne Library (625 Osborne St).

In honour of Winnipeg’s 150 anniversary, interesting stories from each library will be included in the tour. Participants are encouraged to bring their own helmets, dress for the weather, and arrive on time. A waiver will be required to participate, and can be viewed below. For adults only.

  • Duplicate registrations for the same name will be cancelled.
  • The Library reserves the right to limit the number of program attendees.
  • Family programs including Baby Rhyme Time, Toddler Time, Family Story Time, and 3-5 with a caregiver programs are an opportunity for caregivers to participate together with their child in the program.
  • School age programs are for children ages 6-8, 6-12, or 9-12. Children attend on their own unless otherwise indicated. Teen programs are for Grades 7-12.
  • Programs with children ages 11 and younger require a caregiver to remain in the library during the program. In the absence of a caregiver, the Library does not assume responsibility for a child.
  • Children are not supervised by library staff outside of the program space (e.g. washroom breaks or leaving the program early exit from the program).
