THIN AIR Kids: Finding Closure, Graphic Novel Workshop
In-PersonJoin THIN AIR Kids and Winnipeg Public Library for a graphic novel workshop with writer Jen Storm and colourist Alice RL. How do ideas and concepts of closure contribute to the creation of a graphic novel? Find out in this hands-on workshop! For ages 13-17. Registration required. 90 minutes.
Jen Storm is an Ojibwe writer and editor from Couchiching First Nation in Northwestern Ontario. She completed her first novel at age 14. Her most recent book is Little Moons, a graphic novel featuring the colour work of Alice RL. Alice RL is a non-binary Ojibwe illustrator and art teacher who draws inspiration from their life experiences and cultural teachings. Both Jen and Alice live in Winnipeg.
This program is part of February's I Love to Read Month at Winnipeg Public Library.
