CANCELLED: THIN AIR Kids: Author Visit with Linda Trinh

THIS PROGRAM IS CANCELLED. WE APOLOGIZE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE. Join THIN AIR Kids and Winnipeg Public Library for an author visit with Linda Trinh. Listen as she reads from her books and then have the opportunity to ask questions. For children and their families. A class has been invited. A limited number of drop-in spaces are available. 60 minutes. 

Linda Trinh is a Vietnamese Canadian author of fiction and non-fiction for children and adults. She explores identity, cultural background, and spirituality in her award-winning Nguyen Kids chapter books for young readers. Linda lives in Winnipeg with her family.  

This program is part of February’s I Love to Read Month at Winnipeg Public Library.

Public Program Registration Guidelines

  • An email address is required to register for all programs. If you do not have an email address, register by calling or visiting any Library branch.
  • Duplicate registrations for the same name will be cancelled.
  • The Library reserves the right to limit the number of program attendees.
  • Family programs including Baby Rhyme Time, Toddler Time, Family Story Time, and 3-5 with a caregiver programs are an opportunity for caregivers to participate together with their child in the program.
  • School age programs are for children ages 6-8, 6-12, or 9-12. Children attend on their own unless otherwise indicated. Teen programs are for ages 13-17.
  • Programs with children ages 11 and younger require a caregiver to remain in the library during the program. In the absence of a caregiver, the Library does not assume responsibility for a child.
  • Children are not supervised by library staff outside of the program space (e.g. washroom breaks or leaving the program early exit from the program).
  • Children of all abilities are welcome to attend Library programs. If the child requires the support of a caregiver to participate in a program, please speak with staff.
  • Online library programs use Zoom. Please familiarize yourself with Zoom before the program.
