Drop in to get help from CRA and Service Manitoba!  Venez obtenir de l’aide en personne auprès de l'ARC et Service Manitoba ! This bilingual clinic is first-come, first-served with the staff of the agencies providing a sign-in sheet.

Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) / Agence du revenu du Canada (ARC) You will need your SIN number for help with CRA. Vous devez connaitre votre NAS pour obtenir de l’aide auprès de l’ARC 

  • Update information such as address, direct deposit, contact information, or date of death; Get help with forms to apply for the disability tax credit (DTC) & child benefits (CCB); Get help unlocking and setting up a CRA My Account; Get help with explaining review letters; Print Proof of Income/Notice of Assessment (NOA); Drop off income tax returns to be completed at a later date by CVITP volunteers.

Service Manitoba

  • Mettez à jour votre Carte de santé, demandez au sujet du Régime d’assurance-médicaments, obtenez de l’information sur les Services d’aide à l’emploi et l’Aide à l’acquisition de compétences, recevez du soutien pour faire demande au Programme 55ans et plus, demandez au sujet de l’Allocation pour le loyer, et plusieurs autres!
  • Update your Manitoba Health Card, ask about Pharmacare, get information about Employment Assistance Services and Skills Development, find support for applying for the 55 Plus Program or Rent Assist, and much more!

Please note: Service Canada will not be present to provide in-person assistance as previously planned. Please check the attachment below for information on the following services: Social Insurance Number; Employment Insurance; Canada Pension Plan and Old Age Security; Canadian Dental Care Plan

Programs and events at Winnipeg Public Library are always free.

Public Program Registration Guidelines

  • An email address is required to register for all programs. If you do not have an email address, register by calling or visiting any Library branch.
  • Duplicate registrations for the same name will be cancelled.
  • The Library reserves the right to limit the number of program attendees.
  • Family programs including Baby Rhyme Time, Toddler Time, Family Story Time, and 3-5 with a caregiver programs are an opportunity for caregivers to participate together with their child in the program.
  • School age programs are for children ages 6-8, 6-12, or 9-12. Children attend on their own unless otherwise indicated. Teen programs are for Grades 7-12.
  • Programs with children ages 11 and younger require a caregiver to remain in the library during the program. In the absence of a caregiver, the Library does not assume responsibility for a child.
  • Children are not supervised by library staff outside of the program space (e.g. washroom breaks or leaving the program early exit from the program).
  • Children of all abilities are welcome to attend Library programs. If the child requires the support of a caregiver to participate in a program, please speak with staff.
  • Online library programs use Zoom. Please familiarize yourself with Zoom before the program.
