Service Manitoba: Update your Manitoba Health Card, ask about Pharmacare, get information about Employment Assistance services, Rent Assist, and much more!

Canada Revenue Agency: Get help with forms including the disability tax credit & child benefits; update your contact information; get help with My Account and your Proof of Income/Notice of Assessment (NOA). Bring your SIN number.

The Centre de santé Saint-Boniface is a bilingual community health center that offers services for all ages for primary care, nutrition, heart health, and diabetes support. Come learn more about their programs and services!

The Société de la francophonie manitobaine (SFM) is the advocate for Manitoba’s Francophone community. Its information service, the 233-ALLÔ, can help you discover the many ways to live and celebrate the French language in Manitoba.

Pluri-elles serves French-speaking people of all ages. Learn about their programs and services on employment, violence prevention, counselling and more.

The Department of Health, Seniors and Long-Term Care issues Manitoba Health Cards (or a certificate of registration) to all Manitoba residents. Learn about eligibility requirements, online services for address and other changes, ask questions about your coverage, or how to resolve any issues related to your Manitoba health card.

Programs and events at Winnipeg Public Library are always free.

Public Program Registration Guidelines

  • An email address is required to register for all programs. If you do not have an email address, register by calling or visiting any Library branch.
  • Duplicate registrations for the same name will be cancelled.
  • The Library reserves the right to limit the number of program attendees.
  • Family programs including Baby Rhyme Time, Toddler Time, Family Story Time, and 3-5 with a caregiver programs are an opportunity for caregivers to participate together with their child in the program.
  • School age programs are for children ages 6-8, 6-12, or 9-12. Children attend on their own unless otherwise indicated. Teen programs are for Grades 7-12.
  • Programs with children ages 11 and younger require a caregiver to remain in the library during the program. In the absence of a caregiver, the Library does not assume responsibility for a child.
  • Children are not supervised by library staff outside of the program space (e.g. washroom breaks or leaving the program early exit from the program).
  • Children of all abilities are welcome to attend Library programs. If the child requires the support of a caregiver to participate in a program, please speak with staff.
  • Online library programs use Zoom. Please familiarize yourself with Zoom before the program.
