Sewing Saturdays
In-PersonDo you have a sewing project that you need help with? A garment you need to mend? Join us in the ideaMILL on the first Saturday of the month for Sewing Saturdays. Please bring a project that you need assistance with.
Registration opens two weeks before the program date at 10 a.m. Registered participants may attend one session every two months.
Arrive on time so you can get started on your project. Those arriving more than 10 minutes late may have their slot given to others who are waiting.

Public Program Registration Guidelines
- An email address is required to register for all programs. If you do not have an email address, register by calling or visiting any Library branch.
- Duplicate registrations for the same name will be cancelled.
- The Library reserves the right to limit the number of program attendees.
- Family programs including Baby Rhyme Time, Toddler Time, Family Story Time, and 3-5 with a caregiver programs are an opportunity for caregivers to participate together with their child in the program.
- School age programs are for children ages 6-8, 6-12, or 9-12. Children attend on their own unless otherwise indicated. Teen programs are for Grades 7-12.
- Programs with children ages 11 and younger require a caregiver to remain in the library during the program. In the absence of a caregiver, the Library does not assume responsibility for a child.
- Children are not supervised by library staff outside of the program space (e.g. washroom breaks or leaving the program early exit from the program).
- Children of all abilities are welcome to attend Library programs. If the child requires the support of a caregiver to participate in a program, please speak with staff.
- Online library programs use Zoom. Please familiarize yourself with Zoom before the program.
