Pedal the Branches: Group Bike Ride

Explore a new route with our group bike ride! All levels of experience are welcome. Starting at St. Vital Library (6 Fermor Avenue) the route will take you on bike trails and city streets as you make your way to Bill and Helen Norrie Library (15 Poseidon Bay) on a one-way tour. We will take brief breaks to share interesting stories about these neighbourhoods and their libraries.

Participants are encouraged to provide their own helmets, dress for the weather and arrive on time. A waiver will be required to participate, and can be viewed below. Copies of the waiver will be available at the ride to sign. For adults only.

Meet at St. Vital Library, 6 Fermor Avenue.

Public Program Registration Guidelines

  • An email address is required to register for all programs. If you do not have an email address, register by calling or visiting any Library branch.
  • Duplicate registrations for the same name will be cancelled.
  • The Library reserves the right to limit the number of program attendees.
  • Family programs including Baby Rhyme Time, Toddler Time, Family Story Time, and 3-5 with a caregiver programs are an opportunity for caregivers to participate together with their child in the program.
  • School age programs are for children ages 6-8, 6-12, or 9-12. Children attend on their own unless otherwise indicated. Teen programs are for ages 13-17.
  • Programs with children ages 11 and younger require a caregiver to remain in the library during the program. In the absence of a caregiver, the Library does not assume responsibility for a child.
  • Children are not supervised by library staff outside of the program space (e.g. washroom breaks or leaving the program early exit from the program).
  • Children of all abilities are welcome to attend Library programs. If the child requires the support of a caregiver to participate in a program, please speak with staff.
  • Online library programs use Zoom. Please familiarize yourself with Zoom before the program.
