CRA, Service Canada, and MSPD Clinic

Drop in to this clinic from Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), Service Canada, and Sara Riel MSPD for help with a variety of government services. The clinic operates on a first-come, first-served basis and there is no registration.

Talk to CRA and Service Canada staff about how you can access your CRA and Service Canada online accounts, get a copy of your proof of income statement (also known as option C print), and get answers to your questions about the Canada Child Tax Benefit, EI benefits, and more. If applying for a Social Insurance Number (SIN), please bring your birth certificate and a secondary piece of Provincial or Federal identification. 

Sara Riel Community Helper-Navigators will be on-site to help with Manitoba Supports for Persons with Disabilities (MSPD) applications and more.

Please note that staff from Employment and Income Assistance (EIA) will not be present on September 3rd.

Programs and events at Winnipeg Public Library are always free.

Public Program Registration Guidelines

  • An email address is required to register for all programs. If you do not have an email address, register by calling or visiting any Library branch.
  • Duplicate registrations for the same name will be cancelled.
  • The Library reserves the right to limit the number of program attendees.
  • Family programs including Baby Rhyme Time, Toddler Time, Family Story Time, and 3-5 with a caregiver programs are an opportunity for caregivers to participate together with their child in the program.
  • School age programs are for children ages 6-8, 6-12, or 9-12. Children attend on their own unless otherwise indicated. Teen programs are for ages 13-17.
  • Programs with children ages 11 and younger require a caregiver to remain in the library during the program. In the absence of a caregiver, the Library does not assume responsibility for a child.
  • Children are not supervised by library staff outside of the program space (e.g. washroom breaks or leaving the program early exit from the program).
  • Children of all abilities are welcome to attend Library programs. If the child requires the support of a caregiver to participate in a program, please speak with staff.
  • Online library programs use Zoom. Please familiarize yourself with Zoom before the program.
