Watersheds and Relations: Indigenous perspectives on renewing our responsibility to water

In-Person

Join us for a unique, interactive workshop!  Participants will engage with a large-scale watershed map, identifying their family connections within the watershed and reflecting on the water’s pivotal role in the birth of the Metis Nation at Red River. This experience, and a presentation, offers a journey through geography, history and culture, emphasizing our collective responsibility to the life-giving spirit of dii loo (water).

Presented in partnership with the Lake Winnipeg Indigenous Collective.
